World is spinning fast!

It has been soooo long! My life has been full of all kinds of events! I have been out of town, cooking, cleaning, band practice, wednesday night church, etc.. I am so exhausted and I am so glad the weekend is here! I have to work Saturday 10am - 2pm....then I am going home to relax and do my bible study and just hang out! I think this has been the longest week ever!

The Lord has shown me this scripture Ephesians 6:10-19

"10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should"

Whats in your purse?

I know I am sooooo bad! I haven't blogged in a week! My life is insane right now. I promise I am going to try and be better!

I was tagged a few weeks ago by my sister inlaw Abigail.

I had to do my post at work! And my pictures are taken with my blackberry so they are not the best!

Here goes with Rule No. 1:1) "Post a picture of whatever bag you are carrying as of late. No, you cannot go up to your closet and pull out that cute little purse you used back before you had kids.... Show what you carried today or the last time you left the house."

Then Rule No. 2 is post a picture of the contents inside your bag. The theory here is that you can learn a lot about someone from what is in the bag... oh, and you can steal mommy secrets...

Here is all my stuff all out on my desk....I have my makeup bag- you never know when you are going to need to touch up! My wallet of course, my red Jon Hart check book cover, Jon Hart Agenda book ( LOVE that thing!), my glasses, my little LV bag; it has aspirin girl accesories etc..., and of course bobby pins!

I am not going to tag anyone, I just thought this would be a fun blog. hehe!

Sam and I are going to the San Antonio Rodeo this weekend! We will be going to see Jason Aldean and Jack Ingram too! Get your boots on! I can't forget my camera!

These are lyrics to one of my favorite songs. We play this song in church and its just a "sweet" song. This song is done by Kari Jobe a Christian artist. My husband and I just sat down and learned this song and what a blessing! For those of you who dont know I sing and my husband plays guitar and bass. We are both active in our Church band and we lead worship every sunday morning. Anyway, my friend Krystal really loves this song too. She asked if we would learn it and play it for her on Friday. (she and her fam are coming over) So we sat down and played and sang and what a blessing that was to spend time together worshiping the Lord in our own home. PRETTY COOL!

I love my husband so much! He is my rock and my bestfriend. He is probably one of the funniest people I know. He always can make me smile! I don't know where or who I would be without him. I truely believe the Lord has created him JUST for me! I love you Sam!

Kitchens

Everyone loves a beautiful kitchen! I could look at kitchens all day long! I just redid my kitchen but, I am having issues with the pictures so I will try to get those up later. I went to HGTV.com and looked around at some kitchens and found this really cool kitchen. This kitchen was restored after Hurricane Katrina hit. This is also Candice Olson's work. She is so cool!

The lighting and accesories really give this kitchen an old world look. Here is some more of her fabulous work! I love the chandilers in the kitchen. They really give the kitchen alot of character!

This last one here is not Candice Olson. I just found this one and thought it was so awesome. The walls are wallpaper toile and pink! So cute!

I don't know about you guys but its a beautiful day here in South Texas! There isn't a cloud in the sky! It is still pretty chilly! Have a wonderful day!
